Question Can you gain entry to my house without any damage to the locks or doors?
Answer Yes, about 97% of lock outs can be opened using non-destructive methods.
Question If you need to replace parts will you need to come back at a later date?
Answer All of our locksmiths carry a full range of stock therefore most jobs can be completed within one visit.
Question If im locked out how long will it take for you to reach me?
Answer It depends on your location but as we are local to most areas we aim to be with you within 30- 60 minutes.
Question Will I have to pay for a survey on my locks?
Answer No. We provide free no obligation surveys and quotes to all our customers.
Question Ive spoken to a number of double glazing companies about my Upvc door lock not working properly, they have mentioned it may need a new mechanisim, What does this mean? And can you supply and fit it?
Answer The double glazing companies may be right. A mechanisim is a long metal strip that is concealed within your upvc door, this is a more complex door lock than the tradiontional wooden door lock. Our company specialise in this field, and are able to supply and fit it.
Question My insurance company has requested that I upgrade my locks to a 5 lever Dead Lock. What does this mean?
Answer Yes this is common, most insuarnce companies will reqiure a British Stanard 5 lever Mortice on all external door- this is commonly known as a Chubb lock. Note: By not having this type of lock, your insurance may be invalid.
Question I run a B & B we are interested in having a master key for all our bedrooms. Are you able to supply and fit this type of system?
Answer Yes we are able to supply and fit a fully comprehensive suite system to your indiviual specification needs.
